The Rainbow Band was founded at Berklee by Phil Wilson in 1965, making today's Rainbow Band one of the longest running collegiate big bands in the world. Prominent Rainbow Band include: John Scofield, Cyrus Chestnut, Christian Scott, Terri Lyne Carington, Makoto Ozone, Abraham Laboriel Sr., Abraham Laboriel Jr., George Garzone, Hal Crook, Jaleel Shaw, Anat Cohen, Kirill Gerstein, Greg Gisbert, Danilo Perez, and Donny McCaslin.

Every show is different depending on the lives of potential guest vocalists and instrumentalists. Buy tickets to four shows for the price of three.
