The Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) will perform a concert with guest saxophonist and BGJI Managing Director Marco Pignataro in Princeton University's Richardson Auditorium for the 2013 Golandsky Institute Summer Symposium. The specially selected group of young musicians that will perform includes Witness Matlou of South Africa on piano, Chang Min Jun of South Korea on bass, and Patrick Simard of Canada on drums. The BGJI is designed to foster creativity and musicianship under the guidance of artistic director Danilo Perez.

The students perform internationally, producing original music and social projects in pursuit of peace, intercultural dialogue, social change, and democracy. These extraordinary young jazz artists bring astounding creative energy and virtuosity to the final concert of the festival. Please call 609 258-2787 or visit mccarter.org for tickets.
