8:15 p.m. Drum SummitThis concert showcases two of the most explosive and exciting drummers in contemporary music, Terri Lyne Carrington and Cindy Blackman. These two Berklee alumnae have between them amassed amazing discographies ranging from Herbie Hancock to Lenny Kravitz. Each will showcase her own ensembles and special guests will include pianists/keyboardists Geri Allen and Patrice Rushen; jazz/funk guitarist and composer David Gilmore, a Berklee professor; and brilliant, young saxophonist Tineke Postma from Holland.
