From the state that gave us the Pixies and Sonic Youth comes another alternative rock gem, Art Decade. An experimental hard rock band with progressive and classical influences, Art Decade has an expressive, distinct musical style. Drawing inspiration from the likes of the Mars Volta, Muse, and Radiohead, Art Decade is rising fast in the vibrant Boston music scene.

AERS collaborators Tasha and Zack explore alternative/ambient/electronic music with the goal of straddling genres while continuing to respect the sound of American folk music. The result is a warm sound that is hypnotic and cathartic, which pairs nicely with the duo’s poetic lyrics that provoke the listener to ask questions.

The members of These Wild Plains were raised on The Band and Neil Young. The band was named one of Esquire’s “15 Bands To Watch” in 2014.
