Drummer Brett Byars, who will be graduating with a degree in performance, presents his senior recital. The concert will consist of music from such arists as the Meters, Lincoln Goines, original music, and other various artists. Byars is highly influenced by New Orleans music, funk, soul, r&b, and the blues. This recital will portray his influences and other sapects of music that he has been introduced to while at Berklee.

Musician/composer Guy Van Duser is internationally known for his innovative “stride guitar” style as well as his imaginative and sometimes outrageous arrangements for fingerstyle guitar. He has recorded thirteen albums on his own plus many more collaborations. Guy has also performed as a “two-man big band” with clarinetist Billy Novick for over 30 years.
