Hailing from Geneva, Switzerland, Alissia Benveniste (bassist and composer) has recently enjoyed great success with her original funk tune “Let It Out," with her band, the Funketeers. A YouTube phenomenon, the video has garnered nearly 300,000 views in four months. This success has spurred a momentum in the bassists’ career and manifests itself in a variety of projects that Alissia is currently undertaking. Be it headlining a number of festivals with the Funketeers, working on her EP and on a new video, Alissia and her band are happy to bring funk to a newer, younger, and digitally groomed generation.

Gabrielle Walter-Clay is a singer-songwriter from San Francisco. Her music and sound is heavily influenced by R&B, funk, soul, and jazz. She grew up listening to the likes of Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin as well as Simon and Garfunkel and Crosby Stills & Nash and later found her voice covering artists such as Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, and India Arie. With soulful vocals and a fusion of pop, soul, and R&B her spirit and activist beliefs and mindset shine through her original songs, focusing on and encouraging self-love, freedom, and equality.
