Ahmad El Haggar is an Egyptian singer-songwriter and oud player. He performs orginals and covers from the Arab world, rearranging them to suit a more modern sound. Born to a family of musicians, Ahmad knew since youth that music was the path for him. His grandfather taught him singing techniques, and his father, Ali El Haggar, taught him about the business. In 2013 Ahmad started studying at Berklee, and in January he had the pleasure of performing "Home Again" with the legendary Carole King.
