It's a chance become a part of Berklee . . . and ROCKRGRL history.

If you're a Berklee student or alumni performing in an all-female band, you have an opportunity to get some unprecedented exposure as the ROCKRGRL Women of Valor Award Evening comes to the Berklee Performance Center in April. Fanny, the first all-female band to release a full-length album on a major label, will be honored and members of the band will perform. And the group that wins the band contest will open the show.

If your band wins, you'll:

• Perform at the ROCKRGRL Women of Valor Award Evening
• Receive a Luna electric guitar
• Win a two-hour consultation with publicist Public Emily
• Showcase at the Verge Festival
• Earn six hours of Berklee studio time

Band requirements
Your band must be exclusively female and include at least one Berklee alumna or current student. You must be available to play March 9 and 10, April 7, and April 20.

Applying for Berklee's All-Female Battle of the Bands
You must submit all of the following items along when you apply. Download the application by following the link below.

• Cover letter
• Completed application, with stage diagram
• Up to two songs; all music styles are accepted
• Written lyrics

Applications missing any required submission documents will automatically be disqualified.You may also apply through your MySpace account. The submission deadline is February 16, 2007.
