The Berklee Percussion Department will leave no musical stone unturned during this year's Percussion Week, a series of clinics and concerts focusing on jazz, Latin, African, Indian, classical, electronic, and world beat, among other styles. All events are open to the public, and many are free.

Among the concerts are a Tribute to Gary Burton, a vibraphone performance led by faculty member Ed Saindon and The Circle of Life, a Tribute to Lee and Susan Berk, presented by the African Drum and Dance Ensemble. President Berk and Executive Vice President Burton are retiring from the college later this year.

Other highlights include concerts presented by faculty member Ralph Peterson (David Murray and Kenny Garrett) and staff member Matthias Lupri, featuring drummer Antonio Sanchez (Pat Metheny Group).
