Documentation Guidelines
Any student requesting academic accommodations and/or other services or supports under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and/or the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 must provide the college with documentation of the existence of a disability that substantially limits a major life activity. In order to identify appropriate reasonable and necessary accommodations, the documentation must be recent (in most instances, within three years), contain a specific diagnosis, and include academically based recommendations which are deemed necessary in order for the student to access the programs, activities, and services of the campus.
If you are a student with a documented disability, or suspect that you may have a disability, and are interested in receiving accommodations, we encourage you to connect with Disability Services as soon as possible.
