Academic Advising

The Counseling and Advising Center offers a variety of academic advising services to assist students in realizing a successful educational experience at Berklee. Counselors and advisors are available to work with students in all phases of academic and educational planning, decision making and problem solving.

Some common concerns of students who come to the C&AC for academic advising include advisement about possible majors, questions about part-time status, questions concerning credits, principal instrument, facility fees and academic planning.

A Berklee student may speak with an academic advisor during an academic walk-in session or by making an appointment. All counselors at the C&AC are knowledgeable in the complexities of Berklee academics. There are several hours of academic walk-ins a day, with a different counselor/advisor available each hour. Walk-in sessions are fifteen minutes each. If a student has a more in-depth issue, he or she may make an appointment with an academic advisor, specifically.
