Returning Students

Returning students are students who have been away from the college for one or more semesters, not including the summer semester. Berklee recognizes that students may have professional opportunities in the music field or personal situations that interrupt their studies. Therefore, students who require a semester's leave or more are allowed to resume their studies and maintain the same academic credits that they have already accrued. Students are not required to reapply to the college in order to return.

The returning student coordinator in the Office of the Registrar assists students in the procedures to reenroll. Students are also welcome to meet with their academic advisor in the Counseling and Advising Center for help with choosing courses and progressing towards graduation.
