Commencement Concert Webcast
Graduating seniors and other students paid tribute to Donald Fagen and Walter Becker of Steely Dan in a concert on May 11, 2001, at the Berklee Performance Center. The concert was webcast live, as it has been the past few years, but you can view the performance any time by following the links below.
The show opened with a bang, as students Jason Joseph and Jana Berman delivered powerhouse versions, respectively, of a new Steely Dan song, "Two Against Nature," and a classic hit, "Do It Again." Backed by the Berklee Jazz-Rock Ensemble, student singers presented 16 tunes in all, each penned by Fagen and/or Becker. At one point, while the performers took a breather, Fagen and Becker were introduced to the capacity audience of 1,200 students and parents. For more details on the concert, please read the Commencement feature story, or simply click on "Full Concert" below and settle in to watch the show yourself.
