Assistant Professor Sergio Bellotti performed at an Italian drum festival and endorses Yamaha drums.

Professor of Apostolos Paraskevas premiered two movies: one as a director and one as an actor at a film festival in Greece. His piece “An Orange” was recorded by the duo Lagrimosa Beltà.

Assistant professor of voice Daniela Schächter appeared on Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz show.

Assistant Professor of Piano Yoko Miwa released the CD Act Naturally. Her trio was voted Top Jazz Act for 2012 in a Boston Phoenix muisc poll.

Jeannie Gagné, Stan Strickland, Jon Hazilla, and Danny Morris were selected for the Steelgrass Recording Residency in Kauai, Hawaii, in January. 

Assistant Professor of Guitar Colin Sapp released the CD Songs without Words with the group Choose to Find.

Gregory Pavliv of Cedar Grove, NJ, is the director of training for Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit that provides assistance to public schools. The program has reached more than 200,000 students in the United States. Bruce Springsteen made a recent appearance at an event that raised $800,000. Visit www.littlekidsrock.org.
