Associate Professor John Stein released the album Bing Bang Boom!, featuring bassist John Lockwood. 

Assistant Professor of Electronic Production and Design Steve MacLean and percussionist Chris Cutler released the album The Year of the Dragon

Sabato “Tino” D’Agostino won the Goldin Award for Excellence in Education. He also led the Arlington, MA, High School Honors Orchestra on a concert tour of Europe. 

Guitar Professor Freddie Bryant released the CD Freddie Bryant + Kaleidoscope: Live Grooves . . . Epic Tales. He also received a Berklee recording grant for a new project. 

Assistant Professor of Composition Michael Weinstein played French horn with the Boston Pops last summer.

Associate Professor Craig Hlady is heard on the CD Ready, with the Brian Kelley Trio.

Voice Professor Jan Shapiro released Piano Bar After Hours featuring Bob Winter, Tim Ray, Daniela Schächter, Russ Hoffman, and Joey Blake. 

Associate Professor Amy Merrill wrote the new musical Silver Spoon, which will be staged in June at Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier, VT. 

In January, faculty members Steven Kirby (guitar), Ed Lucie (bass), and Mike Connors (drums) toured California giving concerts and workshops.
