Alumni Representative Program
What is the Office of Admissions' Alumni Representative Program?
It is a select group of alumni volunteers who represent the Office of Admissions in their local areas by working collaboratively with Admissions through prospective student outreach and interviewing current applicants. Alumni Representatives also represent the college at local recruitment events, namely college fairs, educator conferences, music industry events, and visits to local high schools. Some of these events also provide valuable networking opportunities for the alumni representative.
What does it take to become an alumni representative for the Office of Admissions?
It takes a positive attitude, communication skills, a willingness to share experiences, and a clear understanding of the college's programs and policies. We want alumni who are excited about the college and can share that excitement with prospective families. Representatives become the "face of Berklee."
How much time would this take?
We are currently accepting applications for volunteer positions and expect to have at least two representatives in each area. We are asking each volunteer to dedicate only 12-15 hours per year.
Is this a volunteer role?
Yes.
