Accepted Students

If you have already been accepted to Berklee College of Music for the spring, summer, or fall, then there are a number of things that you need to do prior to check-in. This section of the site is designed to help you make a smooth transition.

International students will have to obtain an F-1 student visa prior to commencing their study in the U.S. If you are an international student, click here for additional information.

Paying Your Tuition Deposit

Tuition deposits for Berklee College of Music are due upon acceptance notification. This initial deposit is credited towards your first semester charges. This deposit confirms your intention to attend the college and secures your seat in the entering class.

Make sure that your $500 deposit is paid in full no later than:

  • Fall Semester: May 1
  • Summer Semester: April 1
  • Spring Semester: October 15

Once you have paid your tuition deposit, we will provide you with your own Berklee College of Music email address. This will be how we communicate with you prior to orientation. Your will also gain access to my.berklee.edu, a portal for Berklee students, where you will be able to view items needed for check-in.

Acceptance Expiration

Your acceptance is dependent on successful completion of any outstanding schoolwork. Admission acceptances are only valid for three consecutive semesters. Should your plans change, you must submit a written request to refund or transfer your tuition deposit to a later semester. Students accepted for the spring (January) or summer (May) semesters may only change their semester of entry to another spring (January) or summer (May) semester for which their acceptance is valid. Your refund or transfer request must be received by the college no later than:

  • Fall Semester: May 1
  • Summer Semester: April 1
  • Spring Semester: October 15
