During the fall 1998 semester, the entire
Berklee community was asked to suggest
ideas for Berklee's future. Students,
faculty, staff, alumni, parents, the Council
of Chairs, the Board of Trustees, the
President's Council, and the Board of
Visitors all participated, offering nearly

small-group meetings, V2.0 Day in September,
and a written survey. In March 1999, all
