Berklee Performance Center Calendar

The Berklee Performance Center box office summer hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., through September 1, 2013.  Tickets to all performances are always available for purchase online.

The Berklee Performance Center is located at 136 Massachusetts Avenue, in Boston's historic Back Bay. The BPC, which is both the college's flagship performance space and one of Boston's most prestigious concert halls, is easily accessible by public transportation, with parking available in neighboring garages.

Rock Concert Featuring Rod Morgenstein and Jordan Rudess

Rod Morgenstein is a founding member of the groundbreaking progressive rock fusion group the Dixie Dregs, and an original member of the heavy metal band Winger, whose recordings have reached gold and platinum status around the world. Morgenstein is also a member of the Rudess Morgenstein Project, a power duo featuring him and Dream Theater keyboard virtuoso Jordan Rudess.

Afro-Cuban Concert Featuring Mark Walker

Berklee Performance Center, 8:15 p.m.$8 in advance (discount applied at checkout), $12 day of show, general admission

Grammy Award-winning drummer, percussionist, composer, and educator Mark Walker is one of the most respected drummers on the scene. Walker has been a member of the American jazz group Oregon (featuring Ralph Towner) for more than 15 years and a 23-year member of the Paquito D'Rivera Quintet. He also leads the Latin jazz group Rhythm of the Americas. Walker has performed on five Grammy Award-winning albums and has earned nine Grammy Award nominations for his work with various pop and jazz artists.

Faculty guitarist Don Lappin will be performing a set of guitar-oriented instrumental rock songs from his latest CD, Tapped In. This will be followed by an instrumental group led by guitarist Scott Tarulli, playing songs from his new CD, Anytime, Anywhere. Tarulli's new album presents his signature style—a mix of interesting harmonies and grooves influenced by wide range of funk, rock, blues, and jazz.
